Under two contracts, KLD
developed and applied the WATSim
simulation model to represent
and study all the
major toll facilities operated
by NY's MTA Bridges and Tunnels.
These include: the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge,
Brooklyn Battery Tunnel,
Henry Hudson Bridge, Queens
Midtown Tunnel, Throgs Neck Bridge, Triborough
Bronx and Manhattan
Bridges, and Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. KLD
has evaluated short term
strategies to improve traffic
operations at each facility. |
